The "PFR-QS2/PFR-QD" is an earthquake-resistant fitting for drawers that prevents them from opening during an earthquake. The locking mechanism activates during vibrations ranging from small, rapid shakes to larger, slow sways (up to seismic intensity 5 weak). When the earthquake subsides, the lock is automatically released.
